My Winter Style #1: Cognac, Riding, and Wedge Boots

Now that the weather in Florida has finally cooled down, I am excited to get to wear boots!  They are a great way to add a stylish but comfortable look to your outfit.  Although I have many pairs of boots that I love, I wanted to wear more riding boots and wedge boots this year. Both styles offer more comfort than a heeled or pointy toe boot and they are great for running errands or going out with friends.

Cognac Boots:

I waited for over a year to find the right pair of cognac boots in my budget and the wait was worth it! Cognac is a great neutral color that goes with other neutral tones, bright colors, and even black. The boots have become a staple item in my wardrobe and I adore them. I wear them with jeans on casual Friday to the office and  then dress them up with a blazer for happy hour. You have to try this color!

Black Riding Boots:

Boots similar: Rampage Women’s Iben Riding Boot, $49.95

I love the equestrian look and it can’t be pulled off without riding boots. Of all styles, riding boots are the most comfortable and can go with almost any outfit. I wear my black riding boots with tights and a sheath dress to the office and then with skinny jeans and a sweater on the weekends. Black is the most staple color, but if you can, venture into other shades like brown, tan and cognac.

Wedge Boots:

I’m so glad wedge boots and booties came into style because they are so comfortable and chic. I wore these suede wedge boots to a baby shower recently and they were so much warmer than pumps! I also wear these boots with tights and a pencil skirt for work.
