I`m planning to switch to a natural organic mascara due to my sensitive skin. These two cruelty free, organic mascaras are in my list.
Since I became adept with growing cacti and succulents indoor, I coincidentally started following several popular lifestyle YouTubers. They´re the ones with the most-viewed how-to videos on growing succulents indoor. They´re also mostly vegans, and their favorite lines are “all-natural” and “cruelty-free”.
Anyway, I didn´t become a vegan (I wished I could!), but I did start to adopt natural beauty routines and started to be aware of cruelty-free products.
I also started using more natural beauty products. I´ve mentioned in my previous posts how I even my skin tone on the face naturally, and how using coconut oil to whiten teeth is worth a try.
But this post isn´t about cacti and succulents, nor this is about evening skin tones and whitening teeth, this is about that beauty product that almost every stylish woman uses – the mascara. Do you know what´s in your mascara? Does it matter to you?
What I´ve been using for years is the Maybelline New York The Falsies Volum’ Express Washable Mascara, and I love it, but now that my last tube is empty I´m planning to make a switch to something organic.
In fact, I`m planning to to switch all my beauty products to something organic. The reason mainly is I have a sensitive facial skin. I can´t wear makeup without my skin itching after a couple of hours. They get so itchy that I often unconscionably scratch them, which results to my cat eyes not longer equal, or one side of the face with no highlight.
This is the reason why I rarely wear makeup. The thought of wearing primers and concealers whole day make me cringe – but maybe I just have to find the right beauty products that suit my skin.
Back to the mascara, I found two natural organic mascaras, cruelty free, with very positive customer reviews. They are said to be non-toxic and enriched with vitamin E. But these products are pricey, double the price of my usual Maybelline, that I´m still doing my research for which product to test instead of just simply diving into it.
