Pippa Midleton, Rochelle Humes, & Anna Wintour
If you´re still unsure with what to wear to this season´s championship, you will never go wrong with elegant outfits. We know that when it comes to outfits to wear for Wimbledon, less is more. But that doesn´t mean you can get away with just anything less. Keep things classy and avoid over-the-top ensembles. Avoid micro-minis and super killer shoes. You´ll do well with classic pumps, wedges, or ballerina flats.
Pippa Midleton wore a blue dress and blue jacket teamed with nude wedges at Wimbledon 2013. Rochelle Humes polished her striking printed dress with black, while Ana Wintour completed her orange trench coat with strap sandals in 2012. The following looks are inspired by these glam women.
Stand Out Bright Solid Color
Dress, Trench Coat, Shoe, Tote
Go for a single solid color that flatters your skin. Is electric blue perfect for you? Take it as a dress and complete with matching blue court shoes. If the temperature is warm, wear the dress as is saved with an accentuating gold tote bag. Otherwise, you can use a black trench coat to keep your from the chill. Just throw the coat over your shoulders and wear it like a cape.
Elegant Print with Black
Top, Trouser, Tote, Ballerina
Floral print is hot this season, everyone knows that, so feel free wearing it to the championship. But in order to keep things classy, go for a dark floral print and polish it up with all black. Team a black floral print bottom with a black top, or vice-versa, and accessorize with a black bag, black sunglasses or a black hat, and finished with black ballerina flats.
The Classic Trenchcoat
Dress, Trench Coat, Wedge, Clutch
This look is all about dressing up a trench. That means choose the trench coat to wear first and then plan the outfit from there. If it´s the classic beige trench that´s your favorite, try it with beige wedge sandals and a beige clutch. Provide contrast through your dress, go for something colored or printed.
