Winter is SO here in my part of the world. Some areas close to ours have already started snowing but in my place, the temperature is too cold that the snow is made shy. A few of my fall shoes can transition my wardrobe for winter, yet frankly, I do need a shoe update for this season. I´m sure some of you feel the same. Perhaps you´re already having a taste of that white Christmas or you´re awaiting for the entrance of those white flakes but here´s the fact, a new pair of boots (think over the knee, tall or ankle boots) with great spike are darlings, your best friends for cold days. You need to look great and safe at the same time, you don´t want to see your rear on frozen roads.
The looks, the spike, the heels and the material are all important in evaluating a pair of boots. And of course, the price. I´m sure that good-looking and quality boots under $150 are unheard of these days. Today I summed up five boots that are great for you to wear this season and are affordable.

Shiny black leather tall boots with classic design are certain to look good with everything. They give a polished look to an outfit. They can be worn to the office and they can also team up with your casual winter wear. Also, black boots with only half or an inch heels are comfortable and safe especially if you´re a busy woman. Whether your challenge is getting that bus to work on time or taking your train amidst long queue, this boots (pictured below) are guaranteed to offer you a cozy and elegant look comfortably.

Trendy Wedge Boots
We´ve been seeing a lot of wedge boots this season, in different lengths and style. In fact, I did a review of some of my favorite celebrity looks on how to wear wedge boots. There is an element of youthfulness in these boots, and they´re very comfortable too. They´ll carry you with style and grace all day long without a need for you to sacrifice comfort. I love the partial zip details of this boots below, as well as its high wedge and low platform package.
BCBGeneration Women’s Richie Boot ($102.82)
Colored Knee High Boots
Perhaps you already have black, brown and white boots. It´s time to add some colors to your shoe collection. What I love about this deep purple boots is that they can blend with anything in your wardrobe. Their color is enough to make things interesting and yet this palette is still considered base, not too loud, which makes it very functional. You can create as much outfits with this boots as you would with black boots. I like the buckle details of this boots and the neatness of its overall look. It´s even good to know that it´s made with carefully chosen leather materials and its soles are made flexible for comfortable walking. Look sleek with deep purple suede boots this winter.

Ankle Boots are timeless, they are made to amp up your look all year long, from dresses to tights and jeans with coats. That´s why I will never exclude it from the list. Below are two options for you, both in leather. To the left is a classic black leather ankle boots. Team them up with your elegant and professional looking fashion pieces and wear them to work, to church, to a date or to an elite meetings. They´re the translated version of runway looks, something fun, hip and of the moment.

I like the Classic Tall Black boots. I think black goes with a lot more different types of outfits, so it’s easier to wear them.
I do want some colored suede ones, but I don’t know how adventurous I want to be.
Out of all of these boots I think I prefer the black leather riding boots, or “black classic tall boot” reason being is that they are classic and very versatile where as other colours, styles, or materials are not always in style. Chloe has a great selection of riding boots in brown and black leather that are to die for. Unfortunately it never gets cold enough where I am to wear boots so I’m so jealous!
I like the purple boots the most. Such a great colour for winter I think.
