Isabel Marant Fall 2012 collection is a work on pleats, lace, half-tucked comfy shirts, slouchy skinny pants as well as cropped bright trousers, in girly yet cowboy-inspired looks, plus there are lots of neutral, earthy hues mixed with red, maroon, cobalt blue, and some light pink. What I love the most about the collection is that they´re all wearable. Although most looks are great for a not-too-cold fall day, they involve layering and thus can be quickly adapted as your own with just a little of enhancing, in terms of layering, that is.
Layered Up Sweaters with Skirt
You can layer either two sweaters or a sweater and a collared shirt, that depends on what you have. In a mix of neutral pieces, nude/beige and black, the highlight of red adds some striking interest. A pair of red collars popping out your sweater´s neck line and some red hems transition the neutral nude top and black skirt, is what this look all about. Grab a great, netral colored handbag to polish the look and finish off with your favorite cowboy boots, in red or in black.
Leopard Jacket and Red Pants
Animal print looks good with bright colors (such as red) and this is only affirmed by one of Isabel Marant´s fall look. An animal print jacket or coat worn with red pants is something you should really try this season. Wear under your print a white top to temper both of these statement pieces. Add a pair of cute flats and a fabulous bag.

Lace Mix for Fall
Mixing up lace with lace is not only cute, it´s ultra-attractive. Although this outfit isn´t something you can´t wear everyday in fall, if the weather is forgiving, why not try to wear double lace? Here´s a laced sweater in black a white which is perfect to go with a white laced shorts. Add a two-tone belt and a black body bag for more details, then toughen up with a pair of distressed western boots.
