Fall 2012 trend colors are a mixture of fierce and soft shades. Try to colorblock the brights – tangerine tango or pink flambe´ with an olympian blue, layer over a delicious chocolate-like but more polish french roast, and finish off with a rhapsody or rose smoke pumps. How about opting for a pair of honey gold skinnies and pink flambe´ jumper then pull together with the gray, titanium trench coat and grab a rich, go-ultramarine green bag. Really, what I´m saying is, the color trends this season are so fun to wear.
Fall 2012 Trend Color – Chartreuse
Whether it´s as an accent color to your wedding color scheme (which promises a chic fall party) or a highlight to your fall layering, this strong greenish yellow which is fabulously known as bright chartreuse is probably the rose of all these beautiful colors. Wear it with black or white to really highlight it, or colorblock with red violet, dark pink, purple, or green.
Fall 2012 Trend Color – Honey Gold
Honey gold is a very attractive color yet not a lot in market. So my advice, if you happen to see a perfect piece in this trend color, grab it immediately. It looks polished once tempered with neutrals such as balck or gray, and looks extra-cool if colorblocked with olympian blue or light blue. my favorite is having this trend in coat. Wear a honey gold coat over a gray sweater dress and I guarantee you look marvelous.
Fall 2012 Trend Color – Olympian Blue
A blend of cobalt blue and sapphire, olympian blue has that striking effect that even if worn only as a nail polish, certainly stands out. For a sophisticated look, wear it with black. For example, complete a gorgeous olympian blue dress with black pumps and black clutch. Or you can add black tights too. To colorblock, team it with mustard yellow or purple.
Fall 2012 Trend Color – Tangerine
Tangerine tango has been a trend for several seasons now and it´s too trendy to retire. The best thing about this color is that it can blend with just anything, even with any other bright colors. You can wear this color as a single stand out, or tempered with a neutral colors, or colorblocked with other trendy colors. That 3.1 Phillip Lim high waist corset skirt above is my favorite way to wear this trend, complete with a cropped french roast jacket.
Fall 2012 Trend Color – Rose Smoke
Fall isn´t all about bright, it´s also about neutral, soft earthy hues. But among the three trendy neutrals – tatanium, french roast, and rose smoke – it´s the latter that I´m really loving. Create romantic looks this season by mixing and layering pieces in a soft dusty pink, think baby pink mixed with a nude tone.
