Begrudgingly, I´m starting to prepare my pre-fall looks because it´s clear that soon, summer is just a memory. I wasn´t able to make the most of it — the warm days were only a sprinkle in between cold, rainy days.
The chill of evening breeze, even if the sun still sets late, is evident that fall is approaching. How are you going to transition your style from pre-fall to fall?
For me, denim is always a reliable transitional piece. Here are cute ideas on how to wear denim to welcome fall.
1. Floral Blouse and Denim Skirt

There are many styles of denim skirts, from mini to midi and ankle length. But this season, the midi pencil skirt took the stage. Whether it´s to look romantic or to go sporty cool, knee-length pencil skirt proved to be a multi-functional piece. How about taking the midi style to fall?
Dig for a midi denim pencil skirt. This button-front pencil skirt from 7 for All Mankind is an essential. Its high-waist and front slit are totally sexy. These features make the skirt so easy to dress up. Wear it with a split neckline floral blouse and strappy dress sandals.
2. White Tee and Ultra-Skinny Jeans

A simple white tee and black skinny jeans are one of my favorite not-too-loud ensembles. I always like this style idea because even if you´re not exerting too much effort, you still look polished. But for this coming fall, expect skinny jeans to go extra skinnier.
I´m loving this V-neck white tee from Splendid because of its high-low and split-side hem. This tee works perfect with the ultra-skinny jeans from Paige in Evie black shade. Finish the look with natural accessories – snake print ankle strap dress sandals from Giuseppe Zanotti, and a small top handle bag from Botkier.
3. Boyfriend Jeans and Cropped Jacket

Although not everyone is a fan of boyfriend jeans, one thing is sure; boyfriend jeans are always present if we´re to speak fall denim. For a change, try to steer clear of baggy boyfriends this fall and go for some relaxed-skinny silhouettes with tattered features and a hot blue shade.
Partner them up with a sleeveless top made fabulous with ruffle elements, and layer over with a texture-blocked cropped jacket. Because your jacket is already attention-grabbing, finish the look with a black bag and neutral t-strap dress sandal.
How do you plan to wear denim to transition from summer to fall?
Love the second and third look. Boyfriend jeans is something I really like wearing:)
