Now that the end of this year is approaching, people start to set up their to-do lists for 2013.
One of the many things that should be put on top of the list of personal New Year’s resolutions are to stay yourself and be proud of that.
Even designers, photographers and models detected this as the trend for 2013 and have therefore reduced the usage of make-up in order to put an emphasis on the natural appearance.
Keeping it simple
The minimalistic style is surely an evidence for the trend which tries to put an emphasis on every individual natural beauty without painting it over with massive amounts of make-up. For the minimalistic look you first need some high-quality BB cream to gently and evenly spread it on your face. This will only make it look smoother and make the reddish parts of your face disappear. Some BB-creams also do have some moisturising effects and therefore even nourish the sensitive skin in the face. Afterwards you can put on a little bit of mascara, just to give a subtle swing to your eyes – it’s important not to overdo it here. Finally, you take some rouge in a light pink tone and gently put it on your cheekbones, just to make your face look fresh and healthy even after long journeys.
Of course, when going to a club your make-up should be stronger so that it can be seen in the dark. Party nights were not made to hold back – neither concerning one’s behaviour nor putting on one’s make-up. For a night out with the girls, silver make-up will be the best choice in 2013. It’s the perfect mix of classic colour and highlighting your eyes. If you are really brave, you might even put some little diamonds on your eyelids to make it look even more glittery.
