I never really thought of sheer top layers as a trend, but for as long as I can remember, sheer fabrics have been a part of my style. Case in point, this outfit I wore back in 2012.
I still have some sheer top layers in my wardrobe that are yet to say “hi” to world, because you know, we always get very short summer over here (sometimes it´s almost non-existent), but hopefully I can finally wear them this year now that it is on-trend. Yay!
I like to wear my sheers with a tank top or with a slip dress, depending if it´s a sheer top or a sheer dress. I especially prefer it to be drapey, or that it moves smoothly along with my body.
Inspired by the gorgeous sheer top layers from the runway, I`m featuring these sheer pieces I´m currently loving – and yes, you can quickly shop them for yourself.
I love the drama of this open front kimono with three-quarter wide sleeves – whether worn with high-waist shorts or high-waist jeans, the effect is the same.

So long as you don´t go bra-less, this sheer sweater should good to go. But I´ll wear it with a black tank top.

Make sure to wear this with black strap-y high heels. And if possible, no jewelries. Just let the dress do all the talking.
I`m not a big fan of this white sheer top but, let me know your thoughts.

Worn with a black body con dress, high-waist jeans or high-waist leather pants, this embroidered kimono top will inject mystery into the look.
And this is my kind of top. This is just so me! Wide-cut bodice (which means comfy), bold print and kimono sleeve. Love.
