Seeing these spring/summer runway looks made me realize, I don´t have a bright-colored leather jacket. I only have two leather jackets, one in black and another in brown. Time to shop for a colored one for summer, I should say.
While the neutral jackets are more versatile, the bright jackets are more fun. They quickly add interest to any outfit. Just like bright-colored blazers, they´d blend with other bright colors or they´d be the center piece of a minimalist ensemble. Here are four ways to wear that bright leather look this summer.
Green Colored Leather Jacket with Neutrals
Let your green leather jacket speak for the entire look, wear it with a white button down shirt, beige skirt, and white wedge sandals. A motorcycle riding jacket toughens up a feminine mix. Go rough with this acid-bright color moto jacket featuring edgy silhouette, crackled leather and chunky plastic zip accents, then clash it with a girly, lace crochet skirt.
Red Colored Leather Jacket with Print Dress
I like the idea of this style, throwing a red bright moto leather jacket over a print dress which color blends with red. Look for a dress which has pink, orange, dark red or green in its print. Add a pair of leopard print platform sandals, preferably in shades that complement your dress, and grab a black clutch.

Blue Colored Leather Jacket with Colorblock
Finding a gorgeous blue leather jacket is difficult and if you do find a fabulous one such as this number from Mugler, it´s really expensive. But then it´s also a great investment. This Mugler leather jacket updates an edgy, classic silhouette with bright color. Wear it over a green top, team with black and white two-toned skirt, then complete with killer, black sandals.
Tangerine Leather Jacket with Beige
The idea of this outfit is similar to the first look above with acid green moto jacket. It also makes the jacket the main highlight of the outfit although this time, instead of a boy-meets-girl appeal, you have everything in sophisticated feminine taste. Pick a tangerine quilted leather jacket to wear over a beige print top and a nude knee-length skirt. Finish off with a pair of timeless, strapped sandals in nude.
