I admit, in spite of how much I adore fake eyelashes, I´ve a faint heart. I love seeing their volume on Katy Perry´s and Adele´s eyes. I´m attracted to the way fake eyelashes instantly up the eyes making them more expressive with visible sexy factor.
But I was terrified with the process of applying them.
The very first time I wore fake eyelashes was on my wedding, a little more than a year ago. And believe, I very much fell in loved with them. I had my makeup artist put them on me, and while there was a tiny stain of glue on my upper cheek, the process was actually smooth. By that moment, I was converted.
My goal now is to learn how to rock these fake eyelashes by doing it on my own. To start with, I looked for products which I could call, the perfect fake eyelashes. And I´ve found four! They come with clear step by step instructions plus an awesome product review.
So if you´re looking for long-lasting, guaranteed quality eyelashes, check out my finds.
1. Katy Perry Eyelashes, $6.99
Reigning at the top is Katy Perry Eyelashes. Definitely not for the faint hearted, however, once applied, you have that sexy volume which is Katy Perry´s trade mark. This fake eyelashes comes with a clear step by step instructions and the glue, once dried, isn´t noticeable. The process is actually easy, comfy and smooth. The only drawback is that, the glue starts to peel after 5 hours.
2. Long Length False Eyelashes, £4
The second best fake eyelashes is Maria Long Length False Eyelashes by Impulse. At £4, it lasts the course of the day although you might need to add some adhesive towards the end of the day. It comes with clear instructions too and it´s easy to apply. For such price, you get the best value for money.
3. Kimberly’s Eyelure Lashes, £5.39

Third in line is Girl’s Aloud beauty, Kimberly’s Eyelure Lashes for £5.39. They´re very light and last throughout the day. It has clear instructions and easy to apply with the strip being so thin and lightweight. The downside of it though is you need to reapply the glue at the corner of the eye after a few hours.
4. Eyelure Lash 107, $5.99
Eyelure Lash 107 at $5.99 lasts all day. The lashes were easy to apply and had clear instructions. However drawbacks included having to reapply glue after a few hours and topping up eyeliner along the upper lash line to hide the glue.
Honestly, this post couldn’t have come at a better time. :O I’ve been needing a new, fuller pair of false eyelashes, and I’ve heard good things about Eyelure and the Katy Perry lashes, so I’m definitely going to get a pair of hers.
They´re both at the top when it comes to good eyelashes. I´m sure you´d look very adorable with them on.
LOL Why are you terrified of applying fake lashes? I understand they can be frustrating to apply at first…it took me a long time, lots of patience and lots of practice before I could apply them easily. But now I’m addicted to false lashes! It really completes a whole look and makes such a HUGE difference.
I haven’t tried any of the Katy Perry Lashes or the Eylure lashes but I saw them on the MadameMadeline website as being pretty new brands. I also heard the Eylure glue is really good….but I haven’t given it a shot yet as I’m still finishing up my DUO glue 🙂
I´m a little scary cat when it comes to putting glue on my eyelashes, i feel like it can come to my eyes. But yeah, it´s just a matter of practice. I´m actually on the process of mastering it.
