I am a girly girl at heart. I remember as a 6 year old, dressing up and playing princess in a castle. I don’t know where I came up with these plays. I look to my two little girls and they are exactly like me. Pink this, Pink that, Princess this and Princess that. They know all the Disney princesses too.
When floral print became a huge trend, the first thing I thought of was, “Grandma’s floral sofa prints?” Thank goodness, the floral trends did not take after my grandma’s floral sofa. Florals are meant to be an accent and in some outfits the statement piece.

With this outfit, I wanted to use the Floral top as the statement. With the sun setting, I wanted a more edgy feel to the unique elegance of the floral top. What better way to toughen up a look with faux leather leggings. I added peep toe pumps for the “Lady wants to have some fun” appeal. I love the look especially the contrast between tough and ladylike.
Do you like the tough and ladylike appeal?
