It´s time to stash my summer dresses deep in the closet. Without stopping, the weather has cooled. I´ve been waking up to foggy mornings this week, and throughout the day, the sun barely shines. It ain´t fun, my world has started to dim. I´m not very resistant to cold. To wash my hair in this cold weather, is a struggle. And that´s just fall. Lord help me comes winter!
For today´s outfit, I wore a white trench coat over a red floral pullover and black tiered skirt. I paired them with over-the-knee black socks and black ballet flats. Believe me, just for the sake of this outfit, I braved the cold and bared some parts of my legs. I know, that defeats the purpose of the coat and socks, but yá know, when it comes to fashion, you defeat lots of things.
This outfit´s theme is basic black and white complemented with red. The red floral pullover, red gloves and cute red purse, jibed together to bring the basic outfit out of its elements. I´m happy with the result.
My gloves are kind of thick, but since my hands are the very first to freeze when it´s cold, I had to keep them warm. Thus the thickness. 😉 On normal functions, I´d wear a thick tights under the over-the-knee socks for more protection. The tights could be black, or red.
I had some readers asking me via twitter where I took my photos. I happen to live in an area where there´s plenty of beautiful places to take pictures from. This outfit post features a beautiful park which used to be a Jew cemetery. Lots of big trees, beautiful view, a solemn place with very few people visiting. Go figure.
Where I got what I wore? The trench coat is from Mango while the red leather purse and red/black pullover are a gift from an aunt. The gloves, ballet flats and socks are Germany´s local products.
I want those boots!!!
That outfit is so cute!! :O I love socks and skirts together, and I love how your coat is a complete opposite color and layers nicely over the skirt. 😀
Loving the socks & gloves! so cute!
