Today´s outfit is very special to me. We took these photos outdoor despite the freezing temperature, we climbed up the Catholic church which is on top the highest ground in this town (our favorite place to take photos), as part of the celebration of our first wedding anniversary. Yes, today I and hubby celebrate our first ever wedding anniversary. Time flies so fast! A year ago, which actually seems like just a month ago, we said our vows. If you want to see some of our prenuptial photos, check them out here.
I learned from other style gurus a long time ago that in order to not look too thick in winter, layer lots of wool fitted pieces. I just did that. The top is composed of three layering – two wool pullovers under the cardigan, teamed with two layered tights. In order to create some shape, I pulled together the top layering with a wide belt.
The highlight of this look is the colorful long knitted scarf. I believe in injecting colors to your outfits especially on dull grayish weather. I love those Calvin Klein flat riding boots too, they´re one of my most-adored footwear, I really invested in them. The red bag is reasonable for this look, I believe.
Hi Glee!

Love that scarf and boots!
Hi Glee! Thank you so much for dropping by at my blog and for the Holiday wishes 🙂 I hope you’ve been having a lovely Holidays and I’d like to wish you a Happy New Year!
The church setting of the pictures look beautiful! Congratulations to you and your hubby on your first year anniversary 🙂 That’s so sweet to go back and visit the church and relive some of the beautiful memories.
It is a bit too colorful and big on the scarf. Why don’t you try to mix the scarf to white or importantly with red colors and smaller to have better look with you handbag.
Beside all are fine.
Really? If you´re not aware, other than the red bag and a peek of pink pullover, the rest of the background is neutral black. I intentionally wanted to highlight the colorful big scarf, it floats out more with black. I love this look.
It absolutely depends on our perspective hihi:). As I said earlier about the red scarf. I might want to change to the color that you said. Actually, as less color of clothing as possible. Any ways, you bag designed in a very clever ways, on the dark site it becomes pink and on the light site it becomes red. I really couldn’t figured it out until you mentioned. thanks!
I can be unforgiving when it comes to colors, I really adore this huge bright scarf. But your suggestion of wearing it with white is great too, I´m actually scheming for the next outfit pairing this scarf with white. Thanks. 🙂
Great look!
Congratulations on your wedding anniversary!
I love your outfit, so casual and cozy!
Hey Glee, Love the look. What a colorful scarf! 🙂
Happy 2012!
