For two weeks I was already rocking mini-skirts although layered with tights, because the weather was warm and sunny. Just when I thought I could soon peel off the tights, winter came back. Winter is literally back on our side of the world – cold, gloomy and wet. But I remain optimistic. I know that by the end of the month, I´ll say “hi” to a bright sky again. And by that moment, I´ll be digging any of these three super gorgeous mini-skirts for spring!
Ruffled and Tiered Mini Skirt
Tee, Skirt, Ring, Boots
I noticed that I´ve been collecting tiered and ruffled skirts this past two seasons. I love the flirty swing of this number! And because they´re quite short, I wear lace shorts half-slip underneath. I partner them with fun sweaters because the weather is still breezy, but I´d swap the sweaters with cool tees in summer. Peep-toe boots are great in amping up the look.
Pleated and Ruched Mini Skirt
Bracelet, Tank, Skirt, Vest, Boots
Patterned and bright, I´m drawn to this Free People skirt featuring undone pleats and delicate ruching that give way to comfy, breezy movement. I don´t have anything like this in my closet yet so I´m really fixated to this style. The color would surely complement your pair of toned, tanned legs.
Because the skirt´s features are quite girly, toughen it up a bit with a dark tank top layered under a denim vest, and match your boots with the color of your top.
Fringed and Laced Mini Skirt
Sweater, Skirt, Bangle, Booties
I have this thing for printed sweaters – floral or embroidered – although I tend to go for the safer colors, dark shades. Seeing this fabulous combination of an embroidered pastel crop sweater and a lilac bandage skirt featuring lace and fringes, I´m convinced that spring is going to be more fun if I´d step out of my comfort zone. I will definitely try this combination for spring.
Now over to you girls, what do you think of these cute mini skirts?
