Darlings, I´m happy to have Jeanette of Pretty Interior share her thoughts on choosing a wedding dress on a budget.
Getting married is something that most people dream of, even at a young age to dream and plan how their wedding day should be and how the wedding dress should look like. Believe that most women recognize it:)
But there are also those who actually have never felt this way, or had big dreams about one’s future wedding.

I’m actually one of those women who have grown up and who never have known that when I grow up that marriage is a must for me. To have dreamed and thought about what my wedding should be, I have never thought of before. Then I grew up with my parents who have lived together for many years without having married, I think it has had an impact on me when I was younger. That got me thinking that marriage is not a must to be able to have a family, have children and live together. I felt even that marriage just destroys relationships.
It’s fortunate that you grow up and get a different perspective on things regarding life:)
I am now 30 years and has two children with the same man who has been my partner for 14 years. Previously, we have known both that we do not need to get married, but now in the summer as we became homeowners it did in some ways happened that we thought about it and took the decision to actually get married.
We have also decided that we should not get married in the church, we will choose to get married bourgeois.
As we recently became homeowners means we will not spend too much money on getting married, but fortunately you can shape it how you want and it doesn’t need to cost a lot. You don’t need to have the expensive white wedding dress to get married, there are good options for how to dress for your wedding for a low budget.
The options for a bourgeois wedding is endless and it can be difficult to decide how to choose the right outfit.
When it’s our turn, I will choose something simple, because you do not need to complicate it too much. I would like to inspire others who are in the same situation.
I´ve picked out three different outfits that are simple, yet very nice, and not expensive. Very good for us who have a tighter budget, but still want to of course be stylish at our wedding:)

Mischa Jersey Boobtube Midi Length Dress
This is a very nice tube dress and it’s white for you who still want to get married in white. Like how simple it is, but yet a stylish dress. Add some white heels and silver jewellery and the outfit is complete.

Maureen Ruched Detail Chiffon Skater Dress
This is a cute going out dress, but I think it also is a perfect dress to get married in. The drape details are very nice and to match it with pink or white heels and it can be enough to add a bracelet with it.

Bandeau Maxi Dress With Side Split
Yes, it’s a blue dress. Like I said before, it doesn’t need to be a white dress:) Felt I needed to add a blue one also. If you like dark colours, then blue is a great choice. The maxi dress is perfect if you don’t like wearing short dresses. You can find many nice heels in gold for a good price and some gold jewellery to add to it. Think blue and gold is a perfect match.
What do you think of these alternatives?
