These leaves behind me used to be very green, all of them. Now they´ve started to change colors. Clearly, fall is fast approaching. I welcome the next season by wearing a transitional outfit – sleeveless cardigan over a sleeveless little black dress, leg warmers, peep-toe pumps and leather bag.
It´s not Wednesday but I feel motivated to share an outfit post today. I woke up this morning feeling so burned-out, that must be due to my trying to do many things for this site almost all at once. I figured I must have fun at the same time. Afterall, isn´t fashion blogging supposed to be fun?
So instead of my normal routine, sitting at my desk by eight in the morning, I stayed in the bedroom and did some dress up games. The muse lit up, I need an outfit pictorial!
So I dressed up, picked up my NikonD5000 camera and its tripod, and off I went, out the house. While setting up the camera in front of the garage (I´ve initially chosen the garage wall as a background), I heard hubby´s car approaching. “He can´t be home so early”, I thought. But it´s Friday, and he does come home early on Fridays. I should be getting used to it by now.
Bravo! I´ve a photographer.
Perhaps a reflection of a gloomy day turned bright day, my outfit´s theme is black and white. I purchased this white sleeveless cardigan before I left Bangkok, a little more than a month ago. I wasnt very sure how to style it so I´ve hesitations when buying it. It´s quite hot on a summer and quite cold for winter. Only today I figured, it´s good for transitions.
This leather bag is a gift from my mom-in-law. I´m wearing peep-toe pumps but it´s defeated by the thin black socks I´m wearing. Leg warmers are good when you feel a bit chilly. This outfit is an incidental mix.
I wasn´t really looking for anything in the bag. I was just changing straps. This leather bag can be worn as a shoulder bag or a handbag.
Eventually, I haven´t done a lot today. But I feel good and recharged. I´ve taken some fresh air.
Moral: If you feel burned-out from work, dress up!
So tell me, how do you wear leg warmers? And how do you deal with burnout?
what a unique look! love the black and white combination! adore the skirt so much
hi Mrs. K, I´m glad you like my outfit. The black skirt is actually a little black dress worn under the sleeveless cardigan. 😉
Wow, love those leg warmers! Got a couple of them. Gonna buy loads more. 😀 You look absolutely gorgeous! 😀
Very pretty! Love it. I’ve been wearing leg warmers with shorts and loose fitted tops lately. It kind of defeats the purpose, but I like it. LOL
