1. How to Wear Leather Dress in Winter: Combo Bustier Leather Dress
I am drawn by the combo bustier style of this dress plus its cute cap sleeves from Rebecca Taylor. If you look at it closely, it has a subtle optical illusion effect with contrast texture from the sleeves to the sides. I hardly could afford this dress with its first listed price, $495, but now that it´s on 40% off, with its current price $296.98, I have a chance. Looks great with black sexy pumps and black leather clutch.
2. Leather Sweater Dress with a Trench Coat
It´s not always that I see a perfect leather dress such as this sportswear-inspired leather from BCBGMAXAZRIA. Its color is cinder, a bit darker than stone which is very much a neutral. If worn with smoke rose or nude colored trench coat, it´s like topping the season´s other trend, au natural! Just like the model, I too feel that a cap-toe heel is perfect to complete the dress.

This dress reminds me of that cool plaid coat with leather contrast sleeves from pre-fall trends. This women’s westminster by Amanda Uprichard is made of silk and a faux leather material. It´s two-toned with the long sleeves featuring a contrast color or texture. It´s available in ivory combo and in black. Finish it up with black ankle boots. If you want to add some baroque and brocade details to the look, this mud pie black paisley will the job. It´s both convenient and trendy.

You might see that a long-sleeve bodycon mini dress is easier to find that long leather dresses. It´s also easier to wear. You layer it under with warm leggings to cover your dress, a warm thermal undershirt, and add a wool long coat to keep you warm for when you step outside. When it comes to your coat, I would encourage you to have the liberty to choose other colors and not only black. It can be a brown wool top coat, or even a beige.

This cinched waist dress might be difficult to layer under a winter coat but hey, it´s totally fashionable! If you can find an oversized winter jacket or coat to layer over it, then I totally recommend it for winter. Keep the look all-black and accessorize only with simple accessories.

Leather dresses don´t have to be edgy all the time, it can be feminine too. I love the puff sleeves and side shirring of this dress and I get so excited with how fabulous it looks when worn with a pink fur jacket and sexy sock ankle boots.

The yellow, retro handbag with a bamboo top-handle brightened up the look.

Although this leather maxi dress isn´t something that you can wear any day, it certainly is perfect for an evening party outfit in winter. I styled with with a yellow suede Sherpa coat, a pair of elegant calf booties stiletto, and a gray clutch.
