Three tips on how to wear loafers for women´s casual outfits in summer with shorts, skirts or romper.
I`m a firm believer of comfort style. I especially lean to it for travel and tour attires. Unless you´re comfortable in what you wear, you wouldn´t fully make the most of sight-seeing and visiting places. How would you enjoy walking one more mile from a whole day of getting-around if your feet already hurt from those hard leather shoes or high heels?
That´s the very reason why I opted for soft loafer shoes for our visit in Paris where we had to walk non-stop! And because summer means travelling, this time we´re exploring Berlin and Köln, I´m now planning my travel outfits. Always with a pair of loafers.
1. How to wear loafers Women’s: For a Long Day Walk
Allegra Women’s Shoes
I found these loafers at Frette.com. I love that they´re classy and elegant. They´re perfect to complete my go-to travel outfit for summer – white tee, high waist shorts, and sunglasses. The result is understated casual with a touch of elegance.
2. Cute City Chic
Isabel Women’s Shoes
We´re going to spend three nights in Berlin, thus these three outfits. I´m a very light packer and I usually carry with me a pair of loafers for daywear, a pair of high heels for evening dinner, and a pair of flat thong sandals to allow my feet to breath.
For day 2, I´d dress up my loafers with a bright tank top, a skater skirt, a brim hat, and of course, sunglasses! This Isabel slip-on can be dressed up or down. They´re comfortable and provide flexibility. Also, they´re half-reduced at Frette.
3. How to wear loafers Women’s: Comfy Girl-Meets-Boy
Sir Moccasin Slippers
There are days when you crave for a touch of menswear. How would you inject masculine vibe to a casual look? Try finely-crafted moccasin slippers. They´re warm velvet shoes with classic tassels. Usually price-y and a window to covert couture, very well-made moccasins are a staple for girl-meets-boy ensembles.
I´m loving the idea of wearing them with blush colorblock playsuit dressed up with a Maison Michel hat. Truly adorable.
Now over to you girls, are classy loafers also your definition of understated, comfy elegance? How do you stay comfortable yet stylish while travelling?
