Have you been looking for tips on how to wear loafers for women´s casual outfits this summer? Try styling your loafers with shorts, skirts, romper, midi dress and many more.
I`m a firm believer in comfortable style. I especially lean on it for travel and tour outfits. Unless I`m comfortable in what I`m wearing, I won´t be able to make the most of my visit—sight-seeing, exploring places, and what have you.
How would you enjoy walking one more mile on a whole day of getting-around if your feet are already hurting from those hard leather shoes or high heels?
That´s the very reason why I opted for soft loafers for our trip to Paris where we had to walk non-stop! And because summer means travelling, this year we´re going to explore Berlin and Köln. I´m now planning my travel outfits and as you can guess, there´s always going to be a pair of loafers in my luggage. Always.
1. How to wear loafers Women’s: For a Long Day Walk
T-shirt / Shorts / Bag / Loafers / Sunglasses
I love these classy and elegant elegant loafers. They´re going to complete my go-to travel outfit for summer—white tee, high waist shorts, and sunglasses. The result is understated casual with a touch of elegance.
If you want your bright bag to pop, you can opt for black loafers instead. That way, it´s only the bag that´s going to steal the show but the elegant casual ensemble is its backdrop.
2. Cute City Chic
We´re going to spend three nights in Berlin, thus I need three outfits. This one is an option. However, I might opt for a simple t-shirt instead of a ruffled top instead. I try to pack light for my travels so I tend to pack more basics that I can mix and match with other separates.
I usually carry with me a pair of loafers for daywear, a pair of high heels for evening dinner, and a pair of flat thong sandals to allow my feet to breath.
For day 2, I´d dress up my loafers with a bright tank top or a t-shirt, a skater skirt, a brim hat, and of course, sunglasses! This Isabel slip-on can be dressed up or down. They´re comfortable and provide flexibility.
3. How to wear loafers Women’s: Comfy Girl-Meets-Boy
There are days when you crave for a touch of menswear. How would you inject masculine vibe to a casual look? Try finely-crafted moccasin slippers. They´re warm velvet shoes with classic tassels. Usually price-y and a window to covert couture, very well-made moccasins are a staple for girl-meets-boy ensembles.
I´m loving the idea of wearing them with blush colorblock playsuit dressed up with a Maison Michel hat. Truly adorable. It works when you´re into playful ensembles.
4. Sweater Midi Dress with Slide-On Loafers
As I get older, I noticed that my style has toned down a lot. I now prefers neutral colors and comfortable basics with a dose of interesting pieces here and there.
This is a sexy midi sweater dress with high front slit. Worn with black strap heels and an elegant flap bag, you´ll have a stunning evening look. But for a daylook, it will look great with some white slip-on loafers and a dark print tote bag.
5. How to wear loafers Women’s: Crop Jeans and Loafers
Crop jeans are some of the fun pieces to wear in summer. And loafers are always perfect to match the crop jeans look. I would say, this is an elevated basic look, with white button down shirt worn half-tucked or a french-tuck.
You can also add a blazer or a long jacket for a cooler day or if you want to amp up the look a little.
5. How to wear loafers Women’s: Mini Skirt Jeans and Loafers
Depending on the style of your loafers, you can actually look elegant while comfortable in flats. choose loafers with simple details, pointed toes, and no chain or buckles. For a business meeting, opt for leather mini skirt. But for a day of strolling in town, a denim mini skirt is perfect for your feminine loafers.

If you found the perfect skinny jeans, and the perfect pointed-toe loafers to go with them, then all you need is a sexy silk camisole to go with it. Worn with sunglasses or even with an additional fedora hat, the result is so chic.
But if you´re opting for a more elevated look, go ahead and create a darker version of this ensemble. Opt for dark skinny jeans, black silk camisole top, black loafers, and Ray Ban sunglasses.
Now over to you, are classy loafers your definition of understated, comfy elegance? How do you stay comfortable yet stylish while travelling? And which of my tips above on how to wear loafers women´s would you go for?
