When I packed my things for a move from Bangkok to Germany two years back, I had to carefully choose which shoes to bring. I couldn´t carry everything with me, there´s just too limited space in my luggage and too many shoes. Sadly, included in the shoes left behind was a pair of lace up boots. Tell you what? Until now, I still miss those boots.
To make me feel better, I promised myself that my next investment shoe purchase would be on knee-high lace up boots. But before that big day, I thought to revise the cute ways to wear tall lace up boots.
Knee high lace up boots with hi-low skirt
A couple of weeks back I asked you if you would wear long pleated skirts with tall boots. But in case long ankle length skirts aren´t for you, you can opt for a hi-low skirt. Teaming a pair of knee-high lace up boots with a hi-low skirt gives you a nice transition of textures. This is especially true if your skirt is laced. The blend of femininity and classic sophistication is priceless. Go for boots that are masterpiece, they´re great to wear.

Blessed are the girls with endless legs, they can flaunt those gorgeous stems in tall lace up boots worn with super short denim shorts and a simple gray tee. Personally, this is the way I´d wear my boots in summer. Edgy and cool, this casual look makes for a stunning street look. And whether it´s a black denim or a blue washed denim shorts? It´s really up to you.

Tee, Sweater, Bag, Jeans, Boot
Knee high lace up boots work well with skinny pants too. A walnut, ranger boot-inspired laces would complement well a dark blue skinny jean. Complete the look with a white graphic tee with oversized sunglasses in summer, add a cashmere boyfriend cardigan in fall, or layer with a knitted boyfriend sweater in winter. This is the way to channel that army attitude with a splash of sweetness and elegance.
