Gladiator sandals´ comeback is fiercer than ever. If they made waves before when then hit just about mid-shin or around the ankle, how much more now that they´re made in knee-high length? I personally have a thing for gladiator sandals because they revive that ancient glamor of Greece combined with utter sexiness. These sandals are made to get attention so it´s only apparent that they´d look great with shorts, minis, or high-low pieces.
Knee High Gladiator Sandals with Animal Print
Shirt, Shorts, Clutch, Sunglasses, Sandal
Here´s a look straight from the runway! You´ll never go wrong mixing animal print with black, in fact it´s the safest way to go. Choose your pair of black knee high gladiator sandals and style them up accordingly. This Sin leather gladiators are made for casual but striking outfits, team them up with a matching or complementary leopard print top and shorts. To balance the fierceness, add a bright colored clutch or handbag.
Knee High Gladiator Sandals with Bright Print
Top, Shorts, Sunglasses, Clutch, Sandal
I´m honestly not a fan of Rihanna because I find many of her outfits trashy, but well, except this look. This whole combination actually works. Look for a darling pair of nude gladiator sandals to complete a printed top and black shorts. It´s a bonus if your printed top has a black shade in it. Accessorize with black clutch and black sunglasses.
Knee High Gladiator Sandals with Bright Solid
Dress, Clutch, Sandal
This outfit is inspired by J.Lo´s editorial shoot. I love the contrast of a bright sexi dress and an intensely striking sandals. While you can opt for any yellow dress to complete a black knee high gladiator sandal, I find this Grecian-inspired one shoulder limelight dress (it´s on sale) perfect to tone down a tempestuous gladiator sandal.
Knee High Gladiator Sandals with Trench
Coat, Bag, Sunglasses, Sandal
We sure have a month more to enjoy the summer but time flies so fast, and soon we´ll be welcoming fall. Gladiator sandals are great for transitional weather. Wear them with a trench coat as seen on Selena Gomez. I went for a brown military trench coat to partner with brown gladiator style sandals. To inject a touch of bright, I added a red tote bag.
What do you think of knee high gladiator sandals? Do you have the heart to rock a pair?
