Here´s a similar look to recreate Olivia Palermo´s military jacket look. I went for this army-green long hooded raincoat which is perfect for the long rainy cold days before the winter. The buckled, military belt is perfect to cinch the waste while the thermal black leggings will keep your legs warm. Also, the knee-high black and flat leather boots will not only keep your legs and feet warm but will also complete that edgy yet casual military look that you are aiming for.

Military jacket looks great with jeans too. You can dress it up with dark denim jeans and layer under it a girly top and fur vest as seen here in Olivia Palermo, or you go military all over like Beyoncé. This military look is obviously weather-appropriate for early fall given that the military jacket isn´t that thick. However, if winter is mild in your part of the world, then perhapy this look may work too. This is quite a simple layering of white knitted sweater, camo jacket, fur scarf, dark gray denim jeans, and short-heeled black ankle boots.
The most interesting part of this look is, you are able to change its vibe depending on the type of shoes that you will wear it with. Swap the boots for some plaform high heels and you will get Beyoncé`s edgy yet sexy look.

Here are two very different looks. To the left is Alexa Chung´s vintage inspired casual military look while to the right is Rihanna´s edgy Balamain´s militay number (this look must be inspired by Michael Jackson´s famous military jacket). I found this cropped denim jacket in navy green perfect to layer over a black top (or sweater) teamed with a pair of black denim shorts. The black, flat leather ankle boots that I picked are also suited for the elevated street look that I am aiming for. And since the navy green and black are already heavy, I added a touch of color through the brown leather handbag.

Inspired by Sarah Jessica Parker´s military jacket and tutu skirt, I created this fabulous look featuring the navy blue military melton coat paired with a matching navy blue long tulle skirt and black suede stiletto-helled ankle boots.
