I admire Victoria Beckham. Not only do I love her sense of style, I also love her attitude. She set high ambitions from the very beginning. Remember that quote “I want to be more famous than the Persil Automatic“? It stuck in me. She worked hard to build her own brand and indeed, she´s more famous now than that well-known washing powder.
When it comes to fashion, her designing career is a success and she never failed to deliver. But talking about her personal style, the very thing that I admire in her is her sophistication with whatever she wears – be it a street style, a formal wear or a work outfit.
Soon summer vacation is over and it´s back to work. In case you´d need some inspirations on what new looks to wear to work, let´s take a look at some of Victoria Beckham´s posh workwear.
Military-Inspired Workwear
Victoria´s all black military look made me gush a lot about it! She went for a chic body hugging LBD, added a slim buckled black belt, Chelsea boot heels and finished with a classy clutch. To mimic this for work, you can either opt for a black shift dress with three-fourths sleeves or this combo below that I put together – black shirt, black pencil skirt, black boots and some cute, edgy accessory. Remember, you want to look edgy but sophisticated and professional. And don´t make the mistake of wearing your hair in a bun, a low pony is more appropriate.

Shift Dress + Cardi Work Outfit
Guess what? I had this second look (VB photo) in my hard drive for quite a while now and i´ve kept it because the first time I saw this outfit, I knew I´d love to emulate it. Isn´t she gorgeous with those wavy locks? Take a shift dress in any print or color that you like, then throw over it a complementary lightweight, cropped cardigan. Add a slim belt to give you waist then finish off with nude pump platforms.
Dressed Up White Pants
The third look is an old outfit of Victoria (as you can tell with the hair) and despite the way she walks, she didn´t actually wear this polka dot long-sleeved shirt tucked in a belted, high-waist white slacks to any fashion event. She wore it to the airport. While it can be too dressy for many us for a flight outfit, we can re-create it for work. Again, get yourself a printed long sleeves, dig down in your closet, and pair it with white trousers. Add some gorgeous gray pumps and a great bag.
What do you think of Victoria Beckham´s work wear? Which of the above looks would love to mimic?
