It´s fun to finally be able to talk about spring 2013! The season that I so look forward to once the weather starts to be unbearable. To start with, I wanted to profile the best handbags of spring 2013. So many selections and you´ll see a comeback of woven bags, from Dolce & Gabbana´s modernized vintage woven handbag (my grandma had a couple of similar handbags when I was a kid) to Etro´s cute woven clutch. There´s also a remake of pre-fall geometrical graphic trend which you´ll see on most of Fendi´s handbags.
It also seems that designers are loving emphasized, thick cuff on their clutches, which I presume would be one of the biggest trends for spring, but Versus´ take on cuffs stood out the most.
What else? There are lots of animal prints too, black leathers, and chic minimalism! Most importantly, fall 2012 colors such as Olympian blue, pink flambe´ and honey gold are significantly present in these spring handbags.
Salvatore Ferragamo handbags are all about going edgy and smart. Think tall motorcycle boots, military jackets and smart LBDs, they´re perfect for these bags.
Giorgio Armani handbags are the definition of ultimate power and elegance. Only matured, well-established women can pull them off.
Cute geometrical and graphic designs give life to Fendi´s clutches and handbags. Not only the graphics are striking, they´re in delicious colors too!
Missoni features geometrical lines on their clutches. They´re also establishing a new trend – tiny rectagular boxed crossbody bag and large envelope crossbody bag.
Bottega Veneta´s handbags are just the bags that I would normally carry, large and elegant. Whether it´s to go to work or run errands, these handbags allow you to stash all your things inside and still look polished.
Dolce and Gabbana handbags promise the fun of summer! Woven, printed and bright colored, a D&G handbags brings you through spring to summer with style.
Emporio Armani creates less-is-more handbags. They´re all about clean and simple designs in neutral colors (that includes leopard print) and structured style.
Trendy floral clutch in unexpected shape is my favorite from Etro´s spring bags. But the woven clutch as well as the striped black and white clutch are equally gorgeous.
Gucci is all about bright colors, hot blue, pink and tangerine shoulder bags which can also work as clutch. You´ll also see snake prints in polished green andneutral gray.
Jil Sander handbags are undoubtedly simple but sophisticated pieces. I recommend teaming them with a very interesting outfit, printed or colored.
Just Cavalli´s handbags are the kind that works with anything and everything. They´re not necessarily the center of attention, but they´d complement any outfit you´d create.
There are lots of woven handbags from Marni spring 2013 collection. They also have plain in neutral colors handbags that are perfect for corporette women.
There are two large envelope clutches in Les Copain´s spring collection in neutral black and nude. But the queen is that printed, blue and orange clutch.
Max Mara´s spring handbags are a work on fur, leopard print, and gorgeous structured colorblocked square handbags.
Prada wants you to carry just the very important small stuff such as your key, wallet, and lipstick in their significant small but cute handbags. They´re made in either fur or patent leather.
Versace creates military inspired handbags. Black or nude leather and straps with military buttons.
Versus´s handbags, backpacks and clutches all beams with attitude. From the clutches´ striking cuff to its alternative place where you insert your fingers to carry it, plus their colors! [Photo credit: Fashionologie]
The Jil Sander beauties are my faves 🙂
