Did you know that thigh high boots used to be working shoes for men? But because we women love to borrow clothing and shoes from our men, we also adapted these taller than normal over-the-knee boots into our fashion essentials. - Choose a knee-length or above the knee coat to team with thigh high boots.
- If your coat and boots don´t meet, wear tights or jeans under your boots.
- Have fun with prints and bright colors. Don´t shy away from colored thigh high boots such as dark teal or burgundy.

Remember: Always look for clean, expensive-looking thigh high boots. Avoid boots with too many details or that are overly patent, they easily border to cheap hooker-look or scary Halloween attire.
Thigh high boots are definitely not for everyday outfits, however, if there´s a season when you can easily get away with it without causing much hysteria, it´s winter. Think of wearing it on days when your confidence needs a boost or when you feel like injecting glamor adventure to your outfits. What do you say?
