Short trench coat is a gorgeous fall essential that is also a versatile transitional piece. So I’m very excited to see it as a trend this coming fall. I can layer it on a mini dress teamed up with knee high socks are with bared legs and fab ankle boots. If I wear it with skinny denim jeans, it means going leggy even if I´m bundled up since the trench hits just around the hips or the upper thigh.

A short trench coat is a nice break from long coats which you tend to wear most in late fall and winter. It´s shorter and smarter than the traditional trench but with all the classic features still in place. It´s also easy to wear on days when the temperature changes rapidly, from warm to cold and back to warm, you will be covered but not overly.
