We saw a comeback of evening jumpsuits from the Couture Fall 2012 Runway shows. This slinky one piece which is easy to wear is a new option for evenings. From Bouchra Jarrar´s peplum style to Valentino´s silky floral print, evening jumpsuits which were a hot trend last fall are only made even trendier.
What better alternative is there to evening dresses than an easy-to-slip-to one piece jumpsuit? This power player will make you look elegant and glamorous while giving you more freedom to move.
There´s a wide variation to choose from. Alexander Vauthier championed the monochromatic jumpsuit looks in white, nude and gold silk with statement gold chain belts.
Valentino went for demure versions with long sleeves accented with striking sequins and prints as well as the ultimate power, all black jumpsuit. You´ll see sequins and drape-y jumpsuits from Armani Prive and of course, cute peplum in black from Jarrar and elegant neutral looks from Givenchy.
Remember to wear a jumpsuit with fierce posture and a pair of high heels. Don´t be afraid to ramp this glamour, add some jewel stones and burmished metallics.
The Vauthier is my fave from the runway, and I really like a lot of the others you picked too.
