When it comes to denim, I prefer light weight, soft denim especially if it´s a dress, a shirt or a skirt. I opt for the thicker, darker denim like jeans and jackets for cold days. But when the weather is more friendly, I enjoy the light and softer ones. Scanning through the Ready-to-Wear Fall collection of A.P.C., I found their denim looks cute and comfy. They had a way of making denim appear effortless and light. Let´s take a look at how we can steal the looks.
Plaid Shirt with Denim Skirt
Although I´m not often seen wearing plaid shirt, it´s my go-to top when it´s time to look cool casual. But as you can see, plaid shirt looks great with a denim skirt too. Wear it tucked in, add a nude shoulder bag, and finish off with oxford loafers.
Dotted Shirt with Denim Skirt
Did you see my recent polka dot top outfit? I confessed in that post my big love for dots. However, I realized that a fine dotted shirt has this vintage appeal which glows more clearly once teamed with a light denim skirt. Complete it with a really trendy shoe that smokes and add a girly satchel handbag for a very put-together casual look.
Denim Dress with Buckled Shoe
I find it challenging to wear a denim dress. I think it´s because you have to be really picky in choosing the right dress that looks good on you. Most denim dresses I saw are either boxy or dowdy. If you´re shopping for a denim dress, make sure to go for something belted. At least you´re certain you won´t look shapeless in the dress. Team you it with a mod buckled shoe for some retro effect. Add a great bag.
What do you think of this denm looks? Which outfit are you likely to wear?
