We woke up early today, took a train to Frankfurt, and arrived at the airport early enough to catch our flight to Bangkok. By the time you read this post, I must be comfortably settled on a window seat, snuggled on my husband, trying to enjoy an eleven-hour flight and overly excited for our three-week summer vacation.
But you won´t feel my absence, I have scheduled articles to be published daily so that this blog will run like normal while I enjoy the beach in Phuket, Hua Hin and Koh Sameet, meet my friends, and hit my favorite shopping malls in Bangkok. I will be updating you with my escapade on my facebook fanpage.
For now, I´ll leave you with a throwback post – the three ways I wore a pair of white jeans.
White Jeans with Bright Layering
Two years back I was reading Lloyd Boston´s, Before You Put That On, when his entry about white jeans made me realize that I actually didn´t own at least a pair. He convinced me that white jeans are a versatile piece of clothing next to your skin. I used to shy from it because I worried that a white bottom can quickly get dirty.
But I wanted to disprove this old theory so I went and purchased two pairs of white jeans. This is the first outfit I ever wore with my first white jeans. I layered a cobalt blue, sleeveless cowl neck top under a bright pink sweater with butterfly sleeves.
I completed the look with brown riding boots, dark brown cotton gloves, and a leopard print shoulder bag. This outfit became one of my favorite fall looks.
White Jeans with Military Jacket
Military Jacket and White Jeans
And then military jacket came back as a trend last fall, I chose mine in striking cobalt blue. You must have an idea now of my favorite color.
To make the color really pop out, I layered a white pullover under it. Blue is truly stunning if teamed with white. A virtual friend of mine who´s also a blogger told me that this combination made me glow. What do you think?
Without doubts, leopard print boots were the perfect polishing.
White Jeans with Gold Sweater
Here´s a recent outfit that I created with white jeans. The concept of this look is to mix the colors of nature. To see more photos of this outfit, please click the link below the photo. You should see the details of my top, it´s very gorgeous.
I received this gold sweater with beads detailing as a gift. When I first saw it, I didn´t immediately see its beauty. But the moment I put it on, I quickly knew how to make the most of it. I added a slim white belt, teamed it with white pants, and finished with nude knee-length boots. Then I grabbed a leopard print clutch.
As I conclude this post, I figured that I always accessorize the white jeans with leopard print. I wasn´t really aware of it.
White jeans are fun and powerful. They stand alone and go with almost anything. I´m really glad I invested on these jeans.
What about you, how do you wear white jeans?
