We haven´t featured a Creative Fashionista for a while now and this is something we´d like to make active again. Today, I´m very excited to introduce to you a young fashionista from the Philippines, Bernadeth of Miss Beatrix. Dipping through her fashion blog I got a clear picture of how she grew up from teeny sweet style into a young adult, fabulous stylista.
Tell us a little about you and your blog.
I am Bernadeth, a Tourism student from the Philippines and a part-time freelance photographer and blogger. I’ve always liked fashion since I was a little girl, every time I would mix and match my Barbie’s clothes or play dress up with my sister. My blog is all about my outfits and travel experiences; I randomly came up with my blog’s name (Miss Beatrix) and when I consulted Mr. Google on what Beatrix means… it’s totally who I am — a
voyager and blessed girl.
What inspired you to start a fashion blog?
I was inspired by random fashion bloggers I’ve discovered, Lookbook, Tumblr, fashion magazines and especially when I travel… I see a lot of fashionistas and so, I was also inspired to make a statement about my style and share it to everyone.
What´s your signature style?
I guess my signature style would be cute but also rock chic (as stated by MTV Style haha), since I have tons of skirts and dresses that I always wear and I add a little bit touch of “rock chic” style every time I wear them (or vice versa) like by adding leather bracelets, skull earrings etc.
What are the three fashion essentials every well-dressed woman must have?
It would be a little black dress, a statement necklace and biker boots!
What are your top three summer essentials?
My top three summer essentials would be a boater hat, a floral dress and of course, sunglasses! Perfect for a summer getaway 🙂
