Unlike in winter when your main goal is to stay fully covered in order to maximize the warmth within your clothing, spring gives you more freedom to experiment with layering. For some days, you can even bare a little skin.
Given that spring here in my part of the world lingers as long as winter, I´m always on the lookout for some cool ways to layer and play dress up for this season. Here are seven outfits I believe you would like to put your hands on, as much as I do, in spring.
Table of Contents
1. Colorblock Cape Coat

Who doesn´t love a gorgeous cape? This topper is a perfect alternative to the feminine coat dress or the reliable but same-same classic coat. This season however, try to push the envelope further with a color block cape that is also gathered at the waist with a belt.
2. Fluffy Fur Collar

Whatever layering you create, adding a faux fur collar is a quick way to add some fluff and glamor to your ensemble. Choose one in nude color so it can accommodate every outfit you create this coming spring.
3. Minimalist Midi Skirt

We´re all rave for the midi skirt, especially the full skirt, because not only are they elegant, they´re also comfortable. Between a mini and a midi, the skirt that hits the knee is surely easier to manage, + it´s classy! To top the classy-ness, create a minimalist outfit by layering it with a black top and black leather jacket.
4. Head-to-Toe Red

Have you ever considered going powerful in red from head to toe? I know it takes guts, but there´s no glory without guts. Look for a cozy wool sweater in red and team it up with a pair of red trousers and some brown ankle boots for a result that will surely turn heads.
5. Sequin Blazer

Why wait for the evening to don sparkly sequins and metallic? Try layering a bright button down with black skinny jeans and then top it up with a sequined blazer and a pair of metallic pointed pumps for a look that´s a hundred percent delicious!
6. Bright Scarf

When it comes to staying cozy and warm, nothing beats the power of a fabulous big scarf in bright color. Yeah, take note, in bright color! This is especially a requirement when you´re working with the layering of navy blue and denim. I definitely adore that red scarf.
7. Off Shoulder Sweater

I´m not one to brave an off-shoulder sweater in spring, definitely not! Not because I don´t like it, but because I have low tolerance to the cold, but if you´re as brave as this girl, go ahead try it. Think of how sexy those shoulders will look when everyone else got theirs fully covered.
If you can find a sweater with this season´s ruffle cuffed sleeve trend, all the better.
