Most of my life I lived in Asia. I was used to having only two seasons in a year – rainy and sunny. Now for three years of living in this part of Europe, with only three weeks maximum of real summer, my summer clothes sleep in my closet most parts of the year. That´s why when it´s spring, I ask myself if I still need to shop for more summer tops given that I already have plenty of barely used tops.
But who can survive an entire season without shopping? Whenever I try it, I fail. So my technique is hunting for one or two cool pieces to spice up my summer wardrobe. Here are five tops I´m eyeing to have this summer.
Whitney Eve Dot Up Blouse
If you´ve been reading this blog for a while now you´d probably see me as akin to a spoiled DVD, repeating myself over and over again how much I love polka dots. But who can deny the appeal of this awesome sheer white blouse with boxy fit and sexy polka dots? It´s perfect to go with pastel bottoms. I got both my hands up!
Jardin Lace Blouse – Blush
Love wearing denim shorts in summer? Give your go-to casual look a punch with this blush top featuring lace accents on the shoulders. Complete the outfit with coveted vacation-ready sandals.
I love cozy and roomy tops for summer. That´s the reason why this cream knit tunic got my attention. It´s comfy and classy. But you have to be extra careful with it, it´s loose weave and scalloped lace detailing at hem are fragile.
Petal Punch Top
Make a real statement this summer with this super cool top featuring open floral crochet (semi sheer), scoop neck, and scalloped hems. It´s very much a one of a kind. Wear it to garden weddings or family reunion parties with a pair of sexy white or nude high heels.
Turn It Loose Top – Taupe
A lose top with turn it style isn´t something you´d see anywhere else. So if you´re a girl who feels good when you know your style is unique even if you´re rocking a casual ensemble, then I suggest to give this taupe top a try.
Now over to you girls, which of these summer tops do you covet too?
