I´m having a love-hate relationship with denim lately. I used to wear denim jeans a lot once the weather turns cold, but I noticed that I´m currently leaning more towards non-denim. Since when? I`m not sure. I guess, since I became a supermom.
The truth is, I can´t really turn my back from denim. Once the outdoor calls for warmer combos (read: winter boots), nothing beats the denim. Besides, I have many denims in my closet, in different colors! So here I am, searching for inspirations yet again on how to remix my denim jeans and skirts (with flair).
This article looks on how to wear denim with flats because well, that´s what I do mostly … lately. If you visit me, you´ll most probably catch me in flats, chasing my super active toddler.
So here are the looks you can wear all year round. Inspirations from Mother, Fall17.
Suggested: Black Orchid
This outfit is best in springs, when you can go out without wearing layers from the waist down, but you need to throw on a cozy jacket to keep your upper half warm.
Gray is really chic. My gray skinny jeans has become my most favorite. As you can see in this outfit, pairing gray jeans with earthy tones is good. Although you can wear this look with any jacket, a furry topper would be fabulous.
Remember, your flats better match or complement your jacket.
Suggested: KUT Ankle Leg
Whether it´s yoga pants or silky capris you´re wearing, throwing on a classic blue denim jacket will instantly add an edge to the look. Have fun with smoking slippers.
The only surefire way to rock a pair of black sneakers when running errands is teaming it with a black t-shirt and some fatigue denim pants. Wide-leg capris, if you will.
Distressed jeans have become really huge, the more ripped off the better. If you have the belly, bare it with a crop top. Otherwise, wear yours freestyle.
Suggested: Rekucci Stretch Denim Skirt
This look is my least favorite among the list, but hey, if you got the bum, a black, high-waist denim skirt with leopard print cropped jacket may be a good idea. Feel free to ditch the socks and sneakers for some black ballerinas, but only if the weather allows it.
Suggested: Zeagoo Denim
And this is my favorite look! I`m already excited to mimic this look as I write this post. Sexy but cozy and comfy is what defines my style right now. A roomy tee paired with a long, A-skirt denim featuring that really high slit? Oh, wow!
And yes, white sneakers/trainers are my picks.
So tell me, girls, do you enjoy pairing denim pants or skirts with flats?
