It´s been a while since I´ve covered movie inspired outfits. Since winter is so near, I feel kindá Chalet Girl. Remember Kim? The skateboarding champion whose life was turned upside down after her mom was killed in a car accident and in search for a better paying job to help her dad with the finances, ended up as a chalet girl for the rich in the Alps?
Well, we know that her boss was not really liking her not only because she wasn´t so good on snowboarding but because she´s someone posh and glamourous. That´s what this post is about, we´ll try to steal her winter ski chic outfits to make you look good this cold season whether or not you can snowboard.
Printed Jumper with Fur Gilet
Jumper, Jeans, Gilet, Wedges, Ear Muffs
I believe that the best way to beat winter is with vibrant knitted sweaters such as this red harlequin claire jumper. Pair it up with a burgundy superskinny jeans, layer over a fur vest and finish off with lace up wedges that are super trendy. To protect your ears from the cold, wear cream-colored ear muffs.
Aztec Knitted Jumper with White Gilet
Jumper, Gilet, Jeans, Wedges, Hat
This look is more of minimalist. Other than the aztec knitted jumper that stands out as the highlight, the rest in this look are neutral complementing the aztec print – acid washed jeans, white fur vest, brown wedge boots, and black fur hat.

Fairisle Printed Leggings Outfit
Jumper, Gilet, Leggings, Boot, Hat
Now is time for a little mix and match and more of attitude. Opt for a yumi blue fairisle printed leggings to pair with a cream fluro printed yoke knitted jumper. To temper all the prints, throw over a dark blue parka vest which color complements the print of your leggings. Add a pair of tan suede duffle boots to keep your feet warm and protect your head from cold with a neutral fairisle print hat.
So tell me girls, what do you think of the Chalet Girl ski chic outfits? Are you into these prints a´la style trends from the slopes?
I don’t like winter… It’s here full bloom now. Started out with storms and me under a minor cold… Maybe pretty apparel would help!
