Looking for cute ways to amp up your fall outfits? Think bright colored jacket, fresh yellow coat, and leather jacket with seriously killer tall boots. These looks involve layering and working with perfect color blocking or mixing unexpected pieces such as yellow with lace or denim with animal print. While neutral looks are tried and true for cold days, it doesn´t hurt to throw in vibrant mixes and some surprises. Here are three looks to try this fall.
Bright Blue Mix, Jacket and Colored Jeans
Jacket, Turtleneck, Jeans, Handbag, Platform
Wearing vibrant blue from head to toe may make you think – it´s overrated, but adding a dark blue to break the transition from top to bottom is the secret in making it work. This is a new way to wear colored jeans, by teaming them with a matching jacket and a complementary tunic top. Gone are the days when you´re told to only wear colored jeans with neutral colors!
Fresh Yellow with Feminine Lace
Layering under a yellow coat a turtleneck, long-sleeved lace top is not only girly, it´s also sophisticated. I admit, I wouldn´t be able to come up with this combination, so I was really happy to find this inspiring look – lace from head to toe under a bright colored coat. You can either opt for a turtleneck lace dress or a matching lace top and a skirt. If you have a lave top but isn´t turtleneck, add a lace scarf.
Time for Snake Print, Leather Jacket and Tall Boots
Shirt, Jacket, Skirt, Handbag, Boot
A pair of snake print tall boots quickly steals the show. They´re fierce and edgy but don´t fret, they can be tempered with neutral colors and textures. I find dark python print less fierce than colored print such as red. it´s also safer to wear to work. Wear a soft denim shirt with knee-length skirt, snake tall boots and pull together with black leather jacket. To wear this look to work, swap the leather with an elegant coat.
What do you think of these fall layering? Are you into bright colored jacket and coat for fall? What about snake print tall boots?
The bright coat is one of my favorite fall trends!
