Nothing inspires me more than seeing the early signs of spring coming – the snow has melted and the sun has shined brighter and a little longer as opposed to winter´s short gloomy days. Once I get the feeling that spring is so round the corner, I get excited! And when I’m excited, I dig for bright graphics and bold prints for my outfits.
That´s basically the reason why I´m featuring these five bright + bold looks! In spring, you´ll never fall short of layering and combining items that actually reflect the spirit of the season.
Table of Contents
1. Bold sequin blouse + knit print pencil skirt
Tracy Reese introduces two elements in choosing a bold graphic piece for piece that you shouldn´t ignore – flattering and relaxed fit. This beautiful striped sequin blouse boosts a slight narrow bodice, relaxed cap sleeves, and a bateau neckline.
It also has a team player, a stripe sequined pencil skirt, in bold colors that complement but not match the top. Complete the look with thin strap sandals.

2. Colorblock top + ruched leg pant
Bring out those gorgeous color block, darlings! They look like stripes but since they are wide blocks, then they are color blocks. Back is the minimalist monochrome for spring, but instead of keeping everything in black and white, you need to inject bold colors to the look through your accessories or jewelries.
I also love the relax vibe of this ruched leg pants, it´s really cool. But if you´re heavy on the thighs and legs, you may want to avoid it.
3. Striped bustier + Pencil Skirt
Bustier, Skirt, Clutch, Sandal
Bustier and cropped top are starting to make waves for this season, but if you want to keep it elegant albeit too revealing, make it a one-set. Team a fine striped bustier with a stripe pencil skirt, feel free to layer over a white, a black, or even a bright colored blazer, and finish up with a pair of bold high heels.
4. Polka dot bomber jacket + sweatpant
Jacket, Sweatpant, Sandal, Cuff
Although I wouldn´t wear this blue polka dot bomber jacket with its partner which is the polka dot sweat pants, I would style them separately with other black pieces. For example, I love the look of this bomber jacket with a black flared skirt and sleek pointed toe black ankle boots, or the polka dot sweatpants with a clean white tee and strappy high heel sandals.
5. Animal ikat crop top + pencil skirt
I love doing the desk to date series here in Creative Fashion, but for a change, this look is about how to style a desk outfit casually. So we have this animal print pencil skirt which we normally would wear with a simple black top and layered with a blazer complete with black pumps to work, but for a fun spring afternoon why not wearing the skirt with a matching animal print crop top, a pair of bold wedge sandals, and a happy bright necklace?
So tell me creative fashionista, which bold graphic look are you dying to wear this spring?
