Combining bold colors is one of the biggest summer trends. However, this trend can be a little tricky in an office environment. Sitting in an office all day, you can miss the beautiful sunshine of summer, but wearing bold hues can add some needed color back in your day. Here’s a few ways I’ve worn bold colors to work.

Red, White and Blue
This look may seem a little patriotic at first, but I love these two primary colors together. I also love combining red and blue with a fun polka dot print. I kept this outfit looking professional by wearing a jacket (which always adds a touch of professionalism) and nude pumps.
Bold Pink Dress
This is one of my bolder looks as I am not only combing bright pink and blue but also adding a statement necklace and stand-out shoes. Despite the conspicuous independent items, together they look appropriate for the office. The dress has a professional length and the cardigan adds a layer (layers tend to exude confidence and leadership in the workplace).
Mustard and Cobalt
This combo of primary colors looks bright and cheery. To the average person (especially guys) these colors appear to be a simple yellow and blue, but us fashionistas know that these shades really are mustard and cobalt. This outfit reminds me of a box of fresh crayons with fun names for the colors. The bold tunic is toned down a bit with the darker hue of the skirt which makes it easier on the corporate eyes.
