One mistake that women tend to do in choosing summer outfits is not taking into consideration the type of fabric that they wear. Because summer is warm and you tend to sweat more than in any other season, you need clothes in breathable fabric material, absorbent and good conductors of heat.
In planning for your summer work outfits, not only do you need to think of style, you also have to prioritize comfort. You need both style and comfort instead of worrying about your sweat sticking on your skin. Avoid polyester, jersey, synthetic, and any other fabrics that are warm and allow less heat to exit the body. Here are some looks and clothes perfect for you to wear to the office.
Cotton Dress with Lightweight Cardigan

Cotton is great for summer! This cocoon sheath dress from Banana Republic is 100% cotton and is very comfortable to the skin. To wear it to work, cover your shoulders by layering over it a linen lightweight cardigan (choose bright color) which is also perfect for warm days. A black slim belt will provide smooth contrast. Finish the look with peep-toe nude pumps.
Add a Touch of Trend, Stripes

Stripes is a hot trend this summer and you can easily incorporate it to your office looks. Take a respectable-looking stripe dress in cotton and dress it up with slim belt, black sandals and white satchel, or go for a stripe top to layer under a summer jacket and team with soft black cotton pants.
Mix Floral and White

You too can wear floral print to work this summer. Choose a floral long sleeve shirt in cotton or silk (silk is also a great fabric for summer and is healthy to the skin) to pair with a white skirt, pencil or A-line. We know that white is a good conductor of heat but make sure that your white has lining in it. You don´t want to go too sheer at the office.
