I love Autumn. The weather gets immensely cooler and the scenery becomes more breathtaking. It is also one of my favorite seasons to attend a wedding. Living in the South for my entire life, I have been plagued with hot and humid weather from March to October. Winter is very short and Summer takes up too many months than the worldwide average.
That’s why I have so much fun dressing up for Autumn Weddings. Here are some fashionable Wedding styles.
Epic Refinement
One of my favorite looks for a wedding is Epic Refinement. It exudes a contemporary sleekness and a classic polish look. I find that this look resembles what Kate Middleton strives for when attending weddings. She tends to wear a solid color dress, neutral pumps and tasteful jewelry.
Glam Beauty
For a more formal wedding or you feel like dressing up more than usual, I love a long gown that accentuates your natural waistline. I also like to show a bit more skin like this one shoulder look. Strappy heels can create a glamorous appeal.
Sassy Executive
Some might think this is too casual. I do not think it is. If you can wear it working in an office setting, you can most certainly wear it to a wedding. However, to separate from stuffy, conversative wear, the flowy, wrap top gives the look a more fun and easy going vibe to this look. A wedding does not mean you have to wear a dress or gown. One might prefer to wear pants for more comfort. I think it is appropriate as long as there is no fringe or distressed looking pair of pants.
Trendsetter
First of all, the color of this dress is so on par with this season’s trends of wearing wine colored clothing. Next the lace and beading of the dress is breathtaking. Finding a dress that encompasses on going trends is not hard. Focus on one or two trends and make sure the trends do not clash against each other.
The number 1 rule on how to dress for a wedding is not to compete with the bride. Look your best but do not try to take the spotlight away from the bride. It is her day to shine. This is why I recommend dressing on the more conservative side.
