Since last week I´ve been suggesting outfits for the Valentine´s Day. I started it with looks that are appropriate for a first date. But today, I took into consideration the overachieving working girls who may not have enough time to go home and change after five (supposing that they work even on weekends given that this year´s day of hearts falls on a Sunday).
What I love about these outfits is that they´re professional enough for work and feminine enough for a romantic date.
1. Eleese Mesh-Inset Fit-and-Flare Dress
The feminine fit-and-flare dress is update with striped-mesh insets at shoulders and hem. You can always wear it with black high heels for a really classic result, but for Valentine´s, swap the black with a neutral pair of animal print pointed toe pumps for more interest. Add a tailored blazer for work, in white, black or nude, and then take it off after five. Add a heart-colored satchel bag.
2. Short-Sleeve Marled A-Line Dress
For a more effortless look, opt for a short-sleeved A-line dress and style it up with some tonal cigarette high heels. Add a color blocked bright satchel for a good dose of color.
3. Classy Wool Fit-And-Flare Dress with Belt
The fit and flare dress is always feminine, but it may not always classy. If you´re looking for a girly but classy look, consider this navy little frock with bateau neckline and wide elastic belt. You can opt for a really sexy slim strap high heel sandal in black, or you can go for an animal print platform.
4. Textured Fit-and-Flare Sweater Dress
If the Valentine´s Day in your side of the world falls on a winter, this textured fit and flare sweater dress is a great piece to try. You can wear it with black tights and a pointed-toe bootie in leopard print, and you can add a bright pink satchel bag to brighten up the look.
5. Long-sleeve A-line dress
Yet another winter or spring outfit, this black long-sleeve A-line dress will look really gorgeous with an animal-printed pony hair dress pump. Give a hint of a heart by carrying a cherry toned satchel bag.
Now over to you, girls, which after-five cocktail outfit would you wear this Valentine´s Day?
