Some companies are totally strict with their dress code while some treat their employees to a free-style Friday. The international school where I worked in Bangkok is an example; we could wear denim to work on Fridays. But how can you rock a denim piece to the office while keeping it elegant and professional enough? One trick is the denim skirt. These five looks are safe to wear to the office on a Friday.
1. Faded denim midi skirt
Keep it clean with a faded denim midi skirt teamed with a white blouse. Polish the look with pastel colored accessories.
2. Knee-length slim jean skirt
Dress up the knee-length blue denim skirt with an eyelet embroidered top worn tucked-in. You want to accentuate the white in your look so complete it with a pair of white pointed-toe pumps. Steal the attention from the denim skirt through a gorgeous blue satchel bag.
3. Black Denim Pencil Skirt
You can easily get away with a black denim pencil skirt because it doesn´t immediately look denim especially if it´s in dark hue. Keep the outfit classic in black and white by teaming up the skirt with a long sleeve white top and a pair of black pumps. To add softness to the look, carry a rose pink satchel bag.
4. Button Down Denim Maxi Skirt
I used to own a button down maxi skirt similar to this denim one, and it had a matching sleeveless button down top. It was a favorite of mine.
The drape and flowy-ness of this denim maxi skirt will grab attention, so make sure that you´re wearing killer pointed-toe pumps, preferably in dark blue. Keep the look low-key with a simple but cute white top, and a black satchel bag.
Now over to you, girls, would you wear a denim skirt to work? Which of these outfits above is safe for you?
